Monday: Engines

And so back to Canada, after two excellent weeks in the UK.  We’ve had a great time, catching up with friends and family.  Sometimes we can get a bit despondent when we’re back in the UK from here,  but this trip was particularly good, not just because of who we saw, but also because we were spending time in some of the most attractive parts (and, equally, avoiding unsavoury experiences like the M25…..).

The flight was pretty uneventful, if a little long.  I didn’t sleep, my logic being that it will last dividends tonight.  I’ll report back on that tomorrow.
