Destined for bigger things

Slept pretty well....woken at 7.30 by the binmen! Got up not long after 8, downstairs before 9, came face to face with the window cleaner at the kitchen sink,lol.....he always asks me if Im ok :-)

Results day for lots of 16 year olds, including eldest granddaughter Paige. She is going to college to study Psychology, Biology and Media Studies.......she wants to get into media.
Think these results will stand her in good stead, well done sweetheart, Gramps would be so proud of you :-D

I had plans for today, but they have been s uppered, so found myself at a loose end. A very timely whatsapp from E nextdoor, asking if I was busy, did I want to pop round for a catch up over a coffee......just what I needed.

I said give me an hour, wanted to wait for the washer to finish so I could hang out the laundry as the day was bright and quite warm.

The electrician called back too, a slight niccup with the timer on the lights in the garage, hopefully sorted now.

I went for a walk this afternoon, just down into town, needed a couple of cards and gift bags and a length of 25mm plastic hose, had no joy with that..... need to go B&Q I guess.

Cooked chicken thighs, noodles and stir fried veg with oyster sauce for my dinner tonight.

Watered the baskets, deadheaded them, brought the bins in, weote the cards and wrapped the gifts cor upcoming birthdays.
Watched a bit of tv, not going to be late to bed tonight.
