Friday 13th!

Very early this morning I was disappointed to find cloud concealing any hope of catching the Perseid meteor shower. Many years ago when we were camping in the Pyrenees we were rewarded with stunning views of them.

We went into Cheltenham central today. My blip was taken in Sandford Park and shows the River Chelt. I think it t is hard to believe that my Blip is taken in the middle of a town of some 12000 people.

We came home after lunch in the ( new to us) John Lewis “Place to Eat”. In the late afternoon we took another exploratory walk around our village and up the lower slopes of Cleeve Hill. The sun came out and it became a very warm early evening as the sun burnt off the pesky clouds.
