Sleepy Sunday

VJ Day, after a lazy start involving reading over an ‘egg banjo’ I prepared Sunday dinner ready to cook after returning from the VE/VJ Day commemoration at Penryn’s Memorial Garden.
Down on numbers this year it signals the commencement of a round of ‘blazer & medals’ outings in the run up to Christmas.
Fireworks Boat - Penryn VE/VJ Day - Battle of Britain Commemoration - Falmouth Sea Sunday - Trafalgar Night - November Ceremonies etc.

Sandwiches, tea and cake after the short service, (no hymn singing), which although I attend is not really my thing.
We each remember in our own way.
