Poorly puppy

All weekend had been a frenzy of emails and messages trying to help colleagues and contacts in Afghanistan as I watched helpless and shocked at how quickly the Taliban took control of the country.

Then the pup awoke with a sore paw this morning was clearly feeling rather under the weather. Vet can’t see her until tomorrow. Somehow her little injury and the downbeat mood seemed to reflect my general mood.
