Thank goodness for photography

Perhaps it is appropriate that today is low-key given the horrendous news. The only information I could add to what you already know would make it even worse. 

To get away I went to photography. It rained so as soon as my meeting was up, inspired by KatesGarden, I went to photograph things while they were wet. 

On the way back I saw a perfect Monarch butterfly. 

You remember Hamilton and The Room Where It Happens? I am invited to a meeting at the White House tomorrow. Seriously. Now, I filled out the security form at 4 pm today and the meeting is early tomorrow morning so I don't think I'll actually get to go, but it is fun to be asked. If I do go I have my sneakers picked out.
