Just for eating!

Very pleasant, if bracing, walk with Mr Cakes and the dogs this morning. Cobwebs well and truly blown away before 9; a good start to the day.
A bit more coffee morning preparation underway. The shortbread biscuits made ready to be turned into Empire Biscuits tomorrow, chocolate chip shortbread and strawberry jam all organised; along with tomorrow's baking it should make for a decent contribution to the baking stall.
Of course there had to be some 'just for eating' baking so the extra batch of shortbread biscuit mixture makes today's blip; School Holidays in 5 Days Shortbread!
