Afternoon Paddle

I worked today, I managed to start early and finish a bit earlier so we could enjoy the afternoon. I have spent quite a bit of the last two days draining the paddling pool into our borders bit by bit and I managed to complete that task today. The paddling pool, sadly, is now deceased. It had stopped maintaining the inflation in the top band and two of the plugs were no longer water tight, so it was time to say goodbye and thank you for two years of faithful service. The rabbit was delighted to have the patio back to roam around.

We headed off to meet two friends from church for a country walk. Katie found a bridge - well, a plank of 2x4 - over a stream, so she of course had a paddle before we crossed. There was a lot of blackberry munching en route, though they were small and quite tart!
