Doon the Watter

Finally made it to the Isle of Bute. I’ve been wanting to visit for the last 40 or so years.
There’s certainly been plenty of watter today. Rained practically all the way here and didn’t stop until about 3pm, only to start again after about an hour!
Thankfully we decided against bringing our bikes to cycle around the island and Rothesay has lots of very nice cafes and a good restaurant for our evening meal. We also managed short walks around Kittachan and Donagoil bays before retreating back indoors. Better weather forecast tomorrow.
