Manchester Canal

Mr P and I finished our packing and set off on our short trip to London after Mass this morning. I was a bit anxious about driving an automatic on the motorway but luckily all went well. We’ve stopped off overnight in Manchester and are staying with no 2 son and his girlfriend. Much hotter here than Peebles. We had a picnic lunch and a walk/coffees by the canal and then after another wander around the city and some shopping, Chris and Jodie treated us to a very tasty Italian meal in the evening.
