Rose of Sharon

A single bloom on the condominium law, very close to Union Street, at 6 pm on my late walk.  

We watched a very close and quite gripping match at the Western and Southern Open in Cincinnati:  Alexander Zverev  defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas in three sets, with the last one going to a tiebreaker.  


We're following projections for the path of tropical storm Henri, which will come up the Atlantic coast and is likely to hit us directly by Monday morning (8/23). By then it will be below its maxim strength, but gusts could reach at least 60 mph;  since we've had a good deal of rain recently,  the ground is soft and fallen trees are likely to be a major source of power outages.  Wish us luck :)
