Albert Dock

Slept well, woke up to the sound of the pouring rain yet again!! Felt really fed up, looked,out into the garden from the bedroom, everything was saturated.....including hubs lava stone, he would not be happy, was not a fan of the rain :-/

Up & downstairs, fruity breakfast, then set about some more cleaning. Hoovered downstairs, steam cleaned the kitchen floor & downstairs cloak....made some scrambled eggs & toast.

Then I got myself ready to go "out out" with a girl friend for the first time in I dont know how long! I had been given tickets to go see The Drifters at the Liverpool Arena so we decided to go into the City early for a cocktail or two, then something to eat before going to the show.

We had a fab time, 7 hours in all, didnt get home until 11.15pm, these "Drifters" were really good, better than expected if Im honest.
We stood and danced for the most part, a really lively audience, you could tell that people hadnt seen any live entertainment for such a long time!! Thanks to T & JP for the tickets :-)

I took todays blip of Albert Dock in the dark, looking rather attractive, as we were walking back to the car park.

What started out as a rather down day ended up much better.
