Summer's End?

I doubt it somehow. I was just checking the forecast before I wrote this journal, and it looks like it's going back up to the mid-30's on Monday.

We had a couple of light showers this morning, and very dark clouds, but no REAL rain. And in fact right now the sun is trying to peep through again.

Just as you in the North are longing for Spring, we in the South are longing for summer to draw to an end. I am, of course, speaking for myself here. A relentlessly blue sky with hot sun blazing down is just as tedious as a relentless grey sky full of snow and rain. OK, so you don't believe me, I can tell. But it is true.

So these raindrops dripping off a couple of ripening chillies on the bush in the garden is about as good as it gets today.

This coming cold season is really going to test me out blip wise - I can just see it coming. Heaven forbid that I might be forced to the kitchen drawer for a macro!!
