Autumn Colours

One thing I have noticed since our rain last weekend, is how much cooler it is in the morning and evenings, and how much later the sun rises in the morning, and earlier it sets in the evening. Daylight saving ends early on the morning of the 7th April - we will start to notice a further change in temperature then.

The trees are starting to change to their autumnal colour and look beautiful at the moment. This maple tree has an extra bit of decoration with the lichen growing up its trunk. In another few weeks, all the leaves will have disappeared from this tree and will be bare until spring, when they will reappear.
