Rain water harvesting #worldwaterday
Today is World Water Day. Improving sources of water and sanitation is a key IMPACT priority.
In Eastern Kenya we have installed 28 boreholes since last April - to provide clean water in schools and communities.
But there is not always enough water in the ground to dig a well. In such cases we are working with schools to harvest rain water. In this shot a system of water tanks and guttering collects as much water during the rainy season as possible.
