Brotherly Love
Sunny and hot all day. Our son had an all day fundraiser and our youngest granddaughter had an out of town soccer tournament today. She only allowed one goal in two games. That left hubby and me to transport these two grands (cousins) to and from their activities. After we got them home from work, we went to 5:00 pm Mass. We let them pick our dinner location and went to a steakhouse. My grands grew up together, mostly at my house, and are really as close as siblings. As you can see, they love to clown around with each other. We dropped hubby at home and I am keeping tabs on these two all night at my daughter’s. I watched them as babies to keep them out of harm’s way and now as teens, I am on round two. Sure hope I am still able when it’s time for round three. We have collected many memories being part of their lives so far but want many more. My youngest reports that she has received the okay for her children to start school on Monday so I guess COVID is behind us. Well, we still have two unvaccinated granddaughters to protect. Thanks for visiting, leaving stars and comments. “We do not remember days, we remember moments.” - Cesare Pavese
