Decorating

And so the painting begins! All the woodwork is now done, just the walls to try and do this weekend if I can squeeze it in. I know what my sister is going to say about the Farrow and Ball paint, but it is really lovely paint so I’m prepared to pay the price!

I went back to the tile shop today to return a couple of boxes of leftover tiles (I’d bought nearly double what was actually needed in the end) so that was a good chunk of money back. I’ve saved a couple in case I need the bit behind the basin redoing. I’ve not made a decision about that yet.

We watched To Kill a Mockingbird in the evening. We were due to see it on the stage last year but it’s been postponed to next year - I’m glad they’re not doing it this year because I don’t think I’d want to go at the moment. I just hope I’ll feel ok about it by next summer.
