A grand day out

It has been a fabulous day.

Only 15 months late, L has taken part in a magnificent graduation celebration which was held at Edinburgh Castle.   The pipes and drums of the Edinburgh Military Tattoo band accompanied them up through the main entrance and into the castle where other tattoo performers entertained us as we walked upwards to the Great Hall.   The capping was solemn but over so swiftly neither of us managed to get a photo of the actual event.

The day had started with photos outside McEwan Hall with her friends and then afternoon tea at the Balmoral so all in all a grand day out.

Back blipped once we got home.
