Village Day

Our Village Day is usually held in June. It was cancelled last year and this year it has been delayed until the August Bank Holiday. There didn’t seem to be so much there this morning, and there was no parade through the village. However, there was no stopping my WI and we set up our usual cake stall. This year we added a raffle for two lovely hampers. All profits from our stall go towards the upkeep of the Old Barn Hall, our village hall.
