Croissant aux amandes and pain au chocolat for breakfast in bed this morning. Not a bad way to start the day :)

Had a bit of a clear-up whilst Pierre was at his dad's for a bit and then we headed to the beach at Carro. Coquine dived straight into the water and ran about like a nutcase. This is her sitting beside me after her efforts...what a face!

Headed to L'Estaque for some Marseille treats...just what we needed after that salty sea air. We ate homemade, hand-cut crisps, panisses (or as ours looked here). We then decided to finish it off with dessert, a chichi frégi, which reminded me of a yum yum donut type thing. We washed the lot down with some pastis and a glass of rosé. Bloody great!
