Buzz, little bee….

…but don’t sting me!
While wandering around our garden today I spotted this fat furry bumble bee helping itself to nectar from our wallflowers. 
Further aeronautical capers followed (see today’s extra) when we went to a field near the end of the runway and watched the Spitfire take off and roar right over our heads!
The day started lovely and bright but gradually began to cloud over during the afternoon. End of summer today, Autumn starts officially tomorrow.
