Little friends

We had a gorgeous morning with my friends Vicki and Helen today. We drove over the bridge to a fab country house and gardens that we've never been to but certainly will in the future. There was a fairy woodland walk thing happening that we'd put the children down for. It was a bit young for Katie really but she joined in with making it fun for Annie and Faith, and enjoyed some bits like making a wand. And having to demonstrate monkey noises. As you do.

When we had finished, the little two really wanted to ride the tractor/train. We got to see a whole load of deer, including an albino deer! F&A then went on the inflatable slide and Katie started on her lunch. We relocated afterwards to the picnic area and everyone else had their lunch too. The kids then spent ages in the park before of course ice cream time. Katie had been the one to call time on the park, she was beginning to flag.

We headed for home with a slightly sleepy Katie in the car, though she didn't actually drop off. A quick supermarket stop was necessary as the house had very little food in... 20p bargain strawberries were a win! Home brought pjs and watching Cruella. We both really enjoyed it!
