blurred beauty

i know its blurry, but i cannot help it. the lights of a city at night, viewed from above, is breathtaking.

i feel as though i havent seen this image since i was a child. i never fly at night these days. i cant believe the world actually looks like that. this is what weve made it into. im surprised by its beauty. that something so unnatural, could look so enchanting. or, perhaps, that makes perfect sense.

it tends to be that which is worst for us that maintains an enchanting luster.

traveling is exhausting. traveling at night is especially exhausting. im exhausted.
