Benefactors Night

A long time ago in a land far away, really Shepperton in Middlesex, I was a Sea Cadet in the T.S Black Swan unit, I really enjoyed it. Since then I have always had a soft spot for cadet units, visiting units when serving and ensuring a close RNA - T.S Hichens relationship when retired.

Benefactors Night last night was initially disrupted by a road accident preventing participants from arriving on time but we cracked on with the intended programme. A tour of the facilities, meet the Cadets and Staff, refreshments and a presentation.
That was last night today was spent with Mrs S on her day off before leaving to watch the Royal Navy playing the Cornish Pirates down in Penzance with the now obligatory KFC en route.
