Another Supermarket

So we have a huge Morrisons, newly refurbished, next door to an Aldi. You would think that would be all that was required for Swinton, after all there is a Tesco Extra in Walkden and other Tesco minis dotted around in between. But no, the council have given permission for the car park for the precinct to be demolished so that an Asda can be built across the road from Morrisons. So Swinton will become Supermarket City....just what we don't want, or need.

Peel...money grabbing, couldn't care less about land or people...Holdings want to build about six hundred houses on green belt, destroying trees and the beauty of Worsley. Salford Council kowtow to Peel so they let them. Why can't they put houses in Swinton instead of another supermarket?

When I rule the world there won't be any of these crazy shenanigans going on!
