T and I, talking at breakfast, and listening to Good Morning Scotland, wondered how many news items have gone unreported due to the dominance of coverage of the pandemic. I suppose a counter point could be that actually there is not really enough daily news to feed all the (sc)rolling news outlets. Discuss!

After the heat came the rains. Not a deluge but a welcome douse for the parched earth. Luckily all the harvest round here is now safely home. No doubt burnished by the late summer heat?
