One two buckle my shoe

Totally crashed out last night, didnt wake until 7.30…..the. went off again and woke up at 9.55 :-)

By the time I was ready it was almost 11…..C and I had made tentative plans last night to meet for a coffee this morning, so a quick message saw us meet at midday.

We both felt as though we had had “a session,on the pop” which we hadn’t…especially C as she was driving…..we concluded it was all the adrenaline of a proper night out, with all that that includes, especially dancing!

Talking about the dancing, these sparklers are the culprits for my sore feet and achey calves today.
Don't often wear heels anymore these days, but I do so love these shoes & as there are no cruises on the horizon my red sparkly dress and shoes had to be my outfit for last nights wedding! Hub loved that dress <3

C and I enjoyed a long natter over our coffee/tea, with a bacon roll, as neither of us had had anything for breakfast….so technically the cake we had was just lunch lol ;-)

Decided to get the car washed en route home, its not been done for weeks, very sparkly like my shoes now :-) always makes me feel I should clean the interior when its been washed, so I did a proper job on it. Followed that with a kitchen tidy, wipe down, cleaned the floor, then the inside of the windows, then I opened the windows and cleaned the inside channels, brushed the ledges and the frames, got rid of all the cobwebs lol! 

Watered the hanging baskets, deadheaded them, had a quick chat with the groom nextdoor, he brought me some of the flowers and cake too, really thoughtful!  Ive added an extra and Lee & Jen cutting their fab cake. Id told them that hub was there last night, as I was wearing my eternity ring…..they loved that he was. 

Next I cleaned out the salad drawer in the fridge, 
washed everything, threw stuff out. Then diced and sliced up various veg ready for a stir fry for my tea. First I cooked some belly pork with salt and pepper seasoning on, to be diced and tossed in last minute, served over rice noodles. It was very tasty when I eventually ate it lol! 

I had Magic Soul blaring on the radio whilst I was beavering away…..they play all kinds, some songs I hadnt heard for a long time, had me singing along, good job I was on my own lol!! Hub would have been saying for goodness sake “my ears!!” 

Next I went through the job description for the potential pt role Im considering…..have a Teams chat booked for the morning to talk further with my ex boss, as to whether it suits us both to be fair…..we shall see. 

It suddenly dawned on me just how dark it was…. and it was raining,  checked what the time was, shocked to see it was 7.40pm……a late tea for me then! 

 By the time Id eaten,  cleared and washed up, almost time for Vigil……no plans for tomorrow, after the Teams meet, so need to keep myself occupied to maintain my mood :-)
