The first of the U3A sewing sessions

A fun morning in the church hall for our sewing group. There were only 5 of us present,  several ladies are on holiday. But I benefitted, as I was able to have 4 tables to work on to sandwich my quilts. It was hard work, but I got there with help from a friend.

The green top belongs to one of the ladies. It’s Kaffe Fassett designed material and has made up so well. An excellent job especially for a new quilter.

I had a coffee and a nap when I got home, then took a walk with Amber to meet B after his table tennis session. It was a slow walk home. I had planned to buy ice cream, but the parlour is closed on a Monday, so it was Ben and Jerry’s out of the freezer at home.
