Frozen Lamb

Unfortunately the time has come to leave the lakes and head home. I couldn't resist making a brief detour to get a few more shots before leaving. I took this just off the road on the rise up to Dunmail. The sheep looked frozen and huddled into the corner of the field. I think I'd be doing the same in their position.

I called in to visit my brother and his family on the way down. The Midlands seemed to have been hit about as hard as the Lakes for snow, though by the time I got back down to Hampshire it looked as though there was no snow at all...
