Friday: Cathedral Grove

We’re in Tofino for a long weekend.  

We caught an early ferry from Horseshoe Bay to Nanaimo and had a lovely breakfast on board. BC Ferries do good breakfasts.

The three hour drive to Tofino was more like 5 1/2 due to road closures.  The road opened again at 3pm but the tailback was quite long so it took a while to get through.

We stopped for a walk at Cathedral Grove which was closed last time we were here.  We were soaking after our walk but really enjoyed it.

Tofino Brewing and sushi for dinner.  

Our accommodation is excellent!
