If I could blip 500 miles,

....then I would blip 500 more....
Well hopefully I can keep it up anyway. The first 365 took a while to reach. A broken iphone, no PC and problems with the first app meant I missed a few along the way but I've found the 365-500 journey easier. Obviously I realise it is half the distance, but I've managed to avoid missing any entries so far and felt I've been able to get more involved with sharing the community with other blippers on here. Hurrah!

M was at a bowling party this morning. Joshua is her favourite male-friend at school but I refuse to replace the word 'male' with 'boy' here because it freaks me out a little bit. Im regularly hearing 'how cute' he is, or 'how gorgeous he smells'. She insists they're in love and they write little notes to each other. Growing up too fast!

It was snowing outside as I dropped her off and as we'd already put 30p in the meter we hung around the amusements for a bit while I looked for 500 themed inspiration. It didn't take long, but trying to take the snap without loosing my 2 year old in the process was a bit tricky. She was getting seduced by all the flashing lights and loud sirens.

Came home to try and spend some quality time with E. We did Hama beads while we chatted about school, films, friends and art. I know she's worried about what this week will hold as its coming up a lot in conversation, then almost immediately followed by grumpy strops at her sisters. I do hope her teacher handles this properly. Im not sure I'll be happy if theyre all just forced to shake hands and move on.

Arrived to pick up M and got to watch the kids doing party dances in the lanes. Was very funny how seeing how hard they try despite the co-ordination not being there yet. M is very smitten with Joshua's family too, she's thrilled to have met them, and apparently 'Dave is really funny'. Thats Joshua's dad, on first name terms already lol!

A little miracle occurred this evening too. E did her maths homework without asking, no tears and all correct. This never happens! She's been having some extra help at school which seems to have reduced that blind panic she's attached to that purple maths book. Really pleased about this as I do think fear is playing a big part in why she's struggling so much with this subject.

So thats it, another weekend over but on the countdown to Easter now. Yippee!
