Webcap

After yesterday's spectacular Beefsteak fungus today's find is rather small and subtle. This one is the   Pelargonium Webcap (Cortinarius flexipes). Violet-grey in colour it is almost identical to the Frosty Webcap until you smell it - it has a very strong odour of pelargonium (not geranium!).
