Stinkhorn 'eggs'
This morning I found five 'eggs' from the rare Octopus Stinkhorn or Devil's Finger's Stinkhorn (Clathrus archeri). If conditions are right over the next week or so these should rupture and the red 'arms' will emerge. I've blipped the mature fungus several times before but its several years since I've found them.
