Appeeling

Our neighbours (the ones with the unfinished pub), have a couple of apple trees, but also a tendency to let the apples rot on the tree.

They’ve said previously we are free to take some, so we always try to do as its a shame to let them go to waste.

My Mum also had a good crop of apples, so between her donations and Mr A’s collection, we ended up with a huge bowlful.

I know there will be more, so this batch was made into jars of apple sauce. Maybe the next lot will be crumbled ;-)
