Chai me

What a great but long day!

Kids slept in for a change! i mean only until 730 but still that's better than their usual 6 am start.

Every weekend Andre and i rotate sleep ins. we have to.. for our sanity. So on Saturdays its Andres turn to sleep in and being a good wife i nearly always cook him breakfast (this is how i won him over years ago- the saying "way to a mans heart is through is Stomach" is TRUE well partly true there was love and romance and friendship too). So i made him breakfast- poached eggs on toast.

We decided to take the kids to park to run off a little steam, they were at full maximum battery level at 10am -100% charged- we had to let them run down those batteries. We took a ball and like puppies they chased around after it- success!

Lunch followed- our family loves food we never miss lunch.

Kanye went to my mums for the night so we decided to head out and get out of the house for a bit so we went to the mall and stopped in at coffee culture and i got this beautifully presented delicious am in love with how good it tastes spiced chai latte, Andre had a mocha and Mar ordered his usual- a fluffy.
We then went to timezone- a game arcade of sorts. Marley had great time playing games and got lots of tickets to which he got a train when he traded them at the counter.

We left to go home, i cooked dinner warm chicken salad- honey mustard chicken made from scratch - not a premade sauce! on top of salad greens with tomato, avocado and cucumber with a squeeze of lemon juice.

Put Marley to bed after dinner with his new train.

Finished the night sitting with Andre and watched the very funny celebrity dnd game and had fruit salad with mango,orange, pineapple, nectarine and a bunch of other delicious fruits with some natural yoghurt.
