Blue lilly

A fun morning assisting L with Liv’s first swimming session with Turtle Tots. Amazingly all six babies took to it as if it was the most natural thing to be doing. I swum up and down in the fast lane (it was empty) and took a sneaky peak every time I finished a double length. I did think the water was a tad chilly but they didn’t seem to mind, good preparation for when she jumps into the Tweed in a couple of years. It’s a happy coincidence that they use the Nuffield, they only allow one parent at a time, even for the changing bit which is the trickiest.
I saw all three of them out for a walk (Islay dog included) when I was driving to yoga in the afternoon. I still marvel that the first grandchild lives a 10 minute walk away and M&S is just a 7 minute drive. Challenging session from not my usual Tuesday teacher, I liked her attention to detail and feel that I am at last beginning to progress.
Blipped these lilies as I returned. The intense blue of the unfurled one doesn’t really show up, and I was hesitant to move the arrangement too much.
