Bluebells

I love these wee things,  as Joan and I did a garden walk this morning I noticed they were just starting to make an appearance.  Of course, they needed to be blipped today.

Our friends headed off to Dunedin today to catch up with their Grandson (and deliver the cake).....they will be back tomorrow briefly for lunch then have a family funeral in the afternoon.

I did sneak out in the garden this afternoon - nothing much I could do inside.  As scheduled our power went off at 9 am....gosh, there were so many trucks with cherry pickers, utes, diggers, and lots of high viz man power as well.   Power was due to come back on at 5 pm, but fortunately the job must have been completed early as power was restored just after 3 pm.

Doug went off to Golf Croquet this afternoon.

Lots of left overs from our luncheon yesterday, so an easy dinner for tonight.

Covid Stats….23 new community cases, 13 in hospital, 2 in ICU. Auckland went down to Level 3 last night
