Back down

Disappointed that after feeling so much better yesterday I had another bad night and woke at 4am feeling rubbish again, this time also with my voice completely gone. Dragged myself into the office and a packed day, which started by calling the candidates from yesetrday’s interviews and being faced with complications that led to frantic calls and discussions between meetings all day.
Just about got through the day by listening more than talking and taking regular drugs, and decided to grab a photo of this sign in the gardens which was looking distinctly more chirpy than I felt. Id planned to go to IKEA but couldn’t face it so came home and made a big pot of chilli and baked sweet potatoes (although Ad was out so I just left most of it in the fridge for him tomorrow). Managed to make up the bed for A arriving tomorrow but not much else…just watched the first episode of Bake Off then went to bed.
Life changes tomorrow when A arrives….wish I felt better enough to enjoy her arrival
