Blowing a hoolie

We left site early to make sure we got parked for our walk, and we did. Tricky manoeuvre required when we came head on with a logging lorry on a single track road, glad I wasn’t driving.
Packed lunch and off for walk along lakeside then up to Red Pike. Very steep in parts and fabulous views until we reached the top and we couldn’t see a thing, plus is was so windy we had to sit down to put our waterproofs on. My favourite sheep on the slopes, always lovely to see.
Part way down and off came the jackets as it became warm.
Lovely walk. Going to walk round the lake tomorrow in hope of coffee or hot chocolate at the end.
Think we have worn Hetty out as she put herself to bed early.
