Drat It!

I tried being a smart part by including a couple of bits of contrasting into a goblet.
This required cutting, gluing, turning through 90 degrees, cutting again and gluing again.
On the second gluing the glue grabbed just too quickly and it wasn't aligned properly.
Still, it was probably better then I expected and the whole thing was a learning trial.
Next time I will use square stock instead of branch-wood which will make it much easier to align things. I will also use bits that are the same thickness (I  just grabbed a couple of offcuts and didn't really prepare them).

SWMBO had gone to bed for a while mid afternoon and missed the doorbell going.
It was the monsters again .... with parents.
Squirrel was very good and got the TV on the channel I required for watching the Grand Prix practice (I have no idea what SWMBO has done with the set-up and 3 remotes just makes it impossible (for me).
