The Arthur Short Big Band

The easterly wind continued to whistle down the Clyde, and the reports of woe continued to come from Arran. Our holiday there was looking more and more unlikely as the weekend progressed.

We visited the Transport Museum, and then wandered up to the Kelvingrove Art Gallery for lunch. This big band were playing in the main gallery. The sound of the brass filled the hall and warmed the heart of this refugee traveller.
