Point of Ayre…

After a good church service, Gail took me to the most northern point of the island. From here you are closer to Scotland (14 miles) than to Douglas, the capital. The heather and gorse were spectacular. The wind pretty strong too! But the sun shone and has done until this evening. My extra is from the beach on this evening’s walk with the dogs. We got home just in time!

A lovely pub roast beef dinner early afternoon meant we only needed a very small tea. Now all is quiet, and very dark, and I’m using the WiFi here to catch up with the day. Roaming charges apply, which I don’t want to buy.

PS no petrol queues here AND the fuel prices are the same all across the island.
