Renouf

The first whopper swan has arrived at WWT Caerlaverock. He is ringed , Yellow ZHD and is called Renouf. Whooper swans migrate from
Iceland to the Solway coast and other wetlands in October, staying here until spring before returning to Iceland to breed.

Later we met Ana and walked over to the allotment. We dug up some of our main crop potatoes. Ana is planning on running the Loch Ness Marathon this weekend ! :-)
