Susan Bird and the Argonaut

Today's the day ...................... to float your boat

On rather a grey day in Kirkcudbright, the fishing boats Argonaut and Susan Bird  wait for the tide to come in.

You can see that the Argonaut  is at a rather jaunty angle at present because it is still stuck in the mud on the bottom of the River Dee.  But before long, there will be plenty of water for them both to do a quick 3-point turn - and then head out along the estuary to the open sea of the Solway Firth ...................
