Celebrating

We got the van back!!
Thirty-eight days after dropping it off we go her back. Mrs S arranged to take two hours off yesterday evening to pick the van up, our friends at VW Connections had pulled out all the stops to get her through the MOT, not cheap but it needed doing.
Mid morning and Mrs S and I set off for Ashburton and the River Dart Country Park to join other VW enthusiasts for the Oktoberfest weekend. We met Mrs S’s brother Mark who came up from East Sussex and friend Paul. Ours is the chequered nose one. Honking down with rain - doesn’t matter, Mrs S and I are determined to have a good weekend.
All parked and set up we found the steins from last year and headed for the bar.
In the extra, Mrs S doesn’t often let her hair down, (Gin Club excepted), but she’s going for it tonight.
