Honking Down

There were intermittent glimmers of sunshine but mainly rain but it in no way put a damper on the day, we had fun and enjoyed each other’s company immensely.
Is there anything better than a camp fire cooked breakfast although our living arrangements are not as Spartan as camping of old. On three sides of what is called a day shelter the three vans are parked. The shelter is big enough for a dining table, sideboard, cookers, four chairs and even a black bag bin.
We ate, drank and danced in the evening before collapsing into the vans to sleep, I have to say our ‘rock ‘n’ roll’ bed is very comfortable.
The ability to just pull up, cook and crash out means a day or twos roaming is never far away.
Lovely to spend unencumbered time with Mrs S.
