Blast from the past

We had the antique boat races today at the bridge. Years ago (49) the summer was filled with boat races. They would draw crowds and it was always a huge party. I guess younger people today have little interest in real action. Maybe they think there digital games are more exciting as I did not see any young people around. Just us old fogeys and not that many of us either.  Anyway, it was nice to take a trip back to the simpler days. I wish I could have seen some of the old gang who spent summers hanging out down there. It was always a big deal. There is a few extras if you care to look. 
We cut and trimmed the island grass and watched the last race on the way home. Thanks for stopping by!
