Late season harvest

The bucket I use to carry my kitchen waste to the plot gets a rinse (compost always does better with a couple of bucketfuls of water so no water is wasted) and then is used to carry the harvests home. I didn't expect it to be full today. 

Some tomatoes, courgettes, thyme plants and potted basil for a friend (and tiny cucumbers for her Guinea pigs).

I was thinking on the way home that it's nice when you don't expect to have much to pick and the plot surprises you.
