Allotment apple tart

It's rained non stop today and I spent the day with a friend so I didn't spend much time on the plot. We only dropped by the allotment to see how quickly the pond was filling up (very quickly!).

I'm looking after a friend's polytunnel and greenhouses while he's away and he's told me to help myself to a few goodies on his plot. I made this apple tart with some of his apples (which are enormous and very sweet this year) and salted caramel I brought back from a recent trip to Normandie.
