I wanted to see the boats preparing for the “crane out“ tomorrow at Fisherrrow and watched last Monday’s boat moving into its allocated position and another yacht taking a last opportunity of the year for a quick sail.  it is a very easy walk from the harbour to Portobello where volunteer litter pickers were busy on the sand while a few hardy swimmers were enjoying the calm water and people were enjoying the sunshine as they walked along the promenade with many enjoying ices or just people watching.  I thought the birds on the groyne might bring back memories to blipper Joppastrand.
